I need pain killers...help

I have a long standing back problem.... currently causing me significant pain due to dd being only 4 weeks old (had c section).. back is killing me as stomach muscles are not repaired enough to take the strain off back... prior to pregnancy took very strong painkillers daily...am breastfeeding....what can I take....please tell me i can have ibruprofen????

Check with your HV, but I'm pretty sure anything goes - I definately took paracetomol when bf (and lots of lovely morphine and prescription strength codeine after c-section - as I'm sure you will have done).
Have you got a bf pillow? I found raising dd up when feeding decreased the strain I was putting on my back (but I know yours is a special case)

Hey spod, my GP prescribe ibuprofen for my SPD after I had the baby and I'm b/f so I would think its ok.
