Teething or not????

my 5mth old ds has two bottom teeth poking through gums but not fully up. He has bright red face and head and the top of his chest and shoulders are pinky/red. he is boiling hot. is this all due to teething or could it be something else?

Haven't heard of a pink chest and shoulders being implicated in teething before. Perhaps ring NHS Direct?

Teething does the weirdest things! Best to get him looked at by GP tho just in case.

No. If he has a temperature, he's probably going down with something. The teething might be happening at the same time.

thanks all. I did take him to the docs and he has viral and ear infection as well as teething. poor lamb
