Yep, me too. Dh used to wear bright orange trunks when we went swimming so I could see him!!! I had to ask 1yo dd several times if she knew where daddy was and had one embarrassing moment when I was beckoning dh over and getting really annoyed and mouthing abuse at him cos he was ignoring me. Of course it wasn't dh (who was watching and wetting himself laughing)

Grrr. My dad has offered to pay for my eyes to be done, the only problem being that you have to wait a year after pregnancy and stopping breastfeeding and then have to prove a years unchanged perscription. So, seeing as I'm planning on only breastfeeding my DD (who is now 15 weeks) it looks like I have to wait AGES to have it done so I'm very jealous!!

Elf, I had mine done 3 months after stopping bf my 18mo. I booked an appointment while still bf then discovered I couldn't had it done. They looked into it and told me it was a wait of 3 months after pg and bf, not a year.

Hayls, I know what you mean - I've had several embarassing moments before I met dh - the worst one was when I started new school when I was 15 and the teacher said I would be sitting next to so and so and pointed to him - I looked and saw yellow top and blue jeans - not a face. I really thought that would be enough to recognise him. At the break I approached (who I thought she was talking about as they wore same colour clothes) and started introducing myself and talking about how great it will be sitting next to someone new for a change etc. After few mins he stood up and politely excused himself. In the classroom I sat next to him and took my books out. All of the sudden this other guy comes over and says "what the hell? you've been assigned to me!". I was so embarrased - the whole class was laughing. There were so many other moments afterwards but this one was by far the worst. It was geeky to wear glasses when I was 15 and I only started when I left school.
