itchy scalp

my head is incredibly itchy- i definitely don't have nits but it,s driving me mad- is it a vitamin defficiency or soemthing? Anyone any expericne of this or cures for it?

last time someone on mumsnet complained of this it did turn out to be headlice - did you screen yourself with wet combing?!

Hi I had that after giving up breast feeding great very sore lumps was driving me mad doc gave me selsun and now gone thank goodness

I get this, like v.bad dandruff - doc prescribed Betnovate Scalp application.

I've just washed it with neutrogena T gel and it feels a bit calmer, but if it doesn't get better I'll go to the doctor- thanks
