How much damage would it do.......

....to take anitbiotics if I don't need them

I have very sore teeth after 2 root fillings and I have some amoxycillin after the last abcesses I had

Tbh I would never take antibiotics without having talked to a doctor first.

Wouldn't you have to take a full course anyway - otherwise things might get worse still?

Really wouldn't do it if I was you.

Take them - if they were infected before it is possible the treatment has released some residual infection. Can you call dentist first thing Monday to check if he/she might need to see you again.
