Bright pink patches on my cheeks - why?

Any idea why I have a patch of bright pink in the middle of each cheek? On my cheekbones, kind of like a child with a high temperature.

I don't think I have a temperature, but I am 28 weeks pregnant and have a stinking cold.

Just want to know it's not a sign of anything worrying.

Can't remember what it's called but it is something people get in pregnancy. One friend complained it looked like she'd had a rather bad butterfly facepainted.

Slapped cheek or parovirus? Get it checked with your GP to be safe.
