I had shingles a year ago and now I am being driven mad with itch. Help!

I had a small cluster around my shoulder blade and now it is always itchy there.
Any advice?

No advice, but sympathy - I had shingles a year ago last October, and all of last year (especially when I was tired or run down, or the weather was cold) my forehead and eyebrow itched.

I think a year is not long in shingles nerve-recovery time, but maybe someone else will come along and suggest something

Thanks, I googled them and itching is normal, it is part of postherpetic neualgia (!). I still get pain when its cold and its all linked
