She has been really grotty over the last few days, a high temperature, grotty nose, off her food & drink, even been a bit sickly with it. Kept her off of nursery and she has been at home with me. Yesterday I noticed she had one spot on the side of her face but this morning her little face is covered!

She's had chicken pox but is due for her pre-school booster for MMR...I am wondering if it's "just" a virus or whether I need to act. Can't get to see the doctor , it's one of these ring up at 4pm and we will try to fit you in routines. She is much happier in herself today, even ate her weetabix without my encouragement.

To top it all, fingers crossed, my mum is coming out of hospital tomorrow-on her 45th Wedding Anniversary! I will have to stay away because of her low immunity! Knowing that she is home is almost good enough though, I will have to wave through the window at her like a mad woman....won't have to try hard there will I!

what are spots like, it is very common for babys to get rashes with a virus. the most common is one that looks like an allergy. Are her glands swollen? Is the rash anywhere slse??

She's 4 chapsmum, but because she has Down Syndrome communication is delayed and she can't tell me in detail what hurts like most 4 year olds would!
The spots are quite raised and red, similar to the blister like spots of chikenpox. She only has them on her face and one on her neck/upper chest.
