What the title says really. like a thread inside pulled too tight. No lump or anything like that. I leaned forward drying myself after the shower and really noticed it in profile. What do you think?

Oh that's ok then. I only meant to keep you company in the waiting room. Grin I hope you get the appointment quickly.

I went to GP about this before Xmas - very subtle difference, but I did notice it. I also have a tiny lump underneath my right breast.
GP said she thought it was nothing to worry about, but said no GP should send you away in a situation like this - they SHOULD refer you.
I got an appointment at the hospital within 2 weeks, where I had a mammogram, I was prodded about at, and I also had an ultrasound scan to check that area. They found ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to worry about. They said the lump is probably something that appeared when I stopped breastfeeding 5 months ago. I'm sure it's nothing, but if you dont get it checked, you'll begin obsessing over it, and constantly going to check it. x

SilentMammoth, I hope you get some good news and all is well. If not, the ladies on the Tamoxifen thread are great at hand-holding. I have been successfully treated for bc, so even with a positive diagnosis it can be very treatable.

But most lumps end up being nothing to worry about, so keep that in mind this coming week. Best wishes.

I had exactly what you describe and mentioned it at a check up for something else. I was referred immediately for tests and scan, and at no time was I made to feel over-anxious,it was taken seriously from the start. The scan was clear,I was lucky, but you must get it checked out.

Clawdy · 29/01/2012 12:39

Sorry, just read later texts! Good luck, Silent
