dd bumped nose - advice please

My dd aged 6 has just come home from school with a bumped nose. Nothing much to see but as soon as I saw her I knew she looked a little different. Maybe slight swelling on nose. Her nose isn't sore to touch.
Is there any benefit to getting it checked out. Is there anything that can be done if it is broken? She doesn't seem to need a doctor but I'd hate to think she ended up with a crooked nose if there's something I could have done.
Any advice?

if it is broken she should be howling, i broke mine at 6 (well my brother broke it) dr couldnt do any thing just told my mum to give me calpol and sent me home. if its not bleeding i would leave it and see if it gets worse or v-sore, if so then take her to drs. HTH

even if it is broken, there is nothing that can be done at the moment. a and e would not refer her to ent for 6 weeks untill weelling has subsided, if you are still concerned about it once the swelling has gone down, your gp can referr. usual head inj advice, re headaches nausia etc though
hope this helps
