Your GP will not be judging you. Please try not to feel so embarrassed. GO! (if you can get an appointment this year)

Imnotaslimjim · 23/01/2012 07:59

Seriously, just go!! They will have seen it all before, and much, much worse!! And they won't even judge you for leaving it so long, they'll just be glad you've gone

I know its embarrassing, but its better than being stinky!

wonderingwendy · 23/01/2012 08:15

last time i refused to let them swab me because i felt so ashamed they would smell me
so i did it myself in the loo's
oh god the shame

Just go. Do it today if you can. It will be fine, 5 months is too long and you were worried enough to put it on here. Go, get it sorted and get on with your life. Good luck. Smile

Nagoo · 23/01/2012 08:25

Phone them up now. Do it.

you need to go.

Sparklingbrook · 23/01/2012 08:25

wahwahwah · 23/01/2012 14:15

Dunno what it is but it sounds like it needs sorting out! Make the call....

bagelmonkey · 23/01/2012 14:19

I'll be coming over to give you a kick if you don't come back & tell us you've made an appointment.

LadyWidmerpool · 23/01/2012 14:28

I've been already this morning for lichen sclerosis with random lumps. You can do it!

Nagoo · 23/01/2012 14:35

Have you got a appointment? We will mither you until you do....

you did ask for it. :)

Theas18 · 23/01/2012 14:37

Get a grip woman! Ring them up, ask if you can do a self swab and pick up treatment later in the week when the results are back.

If they are pushed for appointments they'll be happy with that strategy and youll get the treatment you need easily.

*meant in the nicest possible way!

wonderingwendy · 23/01/2012 16:35
