Not just you. I definitely do! My clothes start gettin tight when my BMI edges over 22 and I feel sluggish. I'm not a skinny minnie by any means - I have curves and like my food. But I just don't feel comfortable if I put on even a few pounds.

sheeplikessleep · 19/01/2012 15:50

Yes. Same as eurochick - definitely something around the 22BMI mark. I'm trying to lose a few pounds now as I'm not happy with how I look. I'm 5ft1 and weigh 8stone9 at moment. I've lost 3lbs in the last week or so and I feel much much better for it.

Makes me feel so much better....I'm not alone! Think my Bmi is about the same as yours eurochick. Maybe it's a chicken thing.....and a sheep....farm animals then Grin

My BMI's about 22 and I regularly feel like a chub. Tight jeans are tight jeans. I am not fat but I do feel it sometimes.

Hi Chickydoo,
It's just you... ...only joking! :-)
The problem with BMI is that it only relates height and weight. We all know that fat weighs less than muscle, so it is possible for a slim muscular person to have a higher BMI than a slightly chubby, less muscular person. That means the less fit person may well have a better (lower) BMI.
You probably feel like you do because you need to tone up a little, not because you need to lose any weight. Here are two videos about weight management and exercise that I like. You might find them helpful: &
Anyway, try not to be too down on yourself as everyone feels less than goddess-like sometimes!
Best wishes,
Dani.

My BMI is fine but i certainly have wobbly bits.
If the wind would stop blowing I might actually be able to tone up my legs and get on a bike.
Well, the wind is my excuse for today anyway!

Definitely. Mine is 24 at the moment and I look 6 months pregnant.

DilysPrice · 19/01/2012 16:51

Yes. I'm damned if I'm going to shell out to replace my wardrobe so I'm shredding.

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/01/2012 16:58

Mines 18 and I get pms bloating.

We get thinner as we get older in this family.

DaisySteiner · 19/01/2012 17:00

My BMI is on the higher side of normal and I am currently on a diet to try and reduce it (seems a better bet than trying to grow taller Wink)

winnybella · 19/01/2012 17:03

Yup. Mine is 21 and I have lots of wobbly bits.
