Sore hips, particularly in low rise jeans - solveable, or am I just getting old??

Over the past six months I have noticed my hips (particularly my left hip) feeling increasingly sore, and I'm finding my previous favourite low(ish) rise bootcut jeans uncomfortable - it's as if the seam and belt are pressing on my hip and it's painful.

I've tried to limit the amount of time I wear them, and got a new, softer belt, but it's still sore.

Am I just getting old (I'm 37) and should come to terms with the fact that my hipster-wearing days are over and invest in some comfortable slacks??

Sob - does no-one care about my increasingly creaky hips?? Tempted to go and start a thread called "AIBU to park in parent and child space because my hips are sore" and see if that gets more replies . . .

I get this, apparently the jeans are pressing on a nerve in your hip/leg and it hurts. Nothing you can do about it really - don't wear the jeans so low or so tight is the only solution

Thanks Imnot. Sounds like a need a new wardrobe then Sad. I am wearing some stretchy trousers today and they are pretty comfy.

Hi Bramshott. I know this is a really old message but I have the exact same problem. It's been so nice over the summer not to wear jeans but the rest is of the year that's pretty much all I wear. Did you ever find any that are comfortable?
