Howdy Ladies,

Prolapses suck - this I know.

Not being able to exercise properly sucks.

Not being able to pick up your kids sucks completely.

However, something I found the other day which definitely does not suck is this website pelvicexercises.com.au

It has really great advice on how to manage your problems. It has videos (I found the 'how to poo' one most helpful and let's face it, if you googled that term you'd get some interesting results).

For those interested in exercise, it has a brilliant downloadable book on exercising properly, including which positions in Pilates etc are really bad for you (who knew?), which weight machines in the gym you can use and which are bad for your pevlic floor and even exercises so that you can combat osteoporosis when you get ancient. (The book costs about 27 Aussie dollars and is well worth it in my opinion).

Anyhow, I could go on for ages about how this lovely woman Michelle has actually given me something positive to think about - rather than doom and gloom. I just thought it is worth a look.

By the way, she's not my long lost relative and I don't have shares in her company. I'm just really pleased to have found something that is based around proper medical knowledge and is specific enough and enthusiastic enough to help.
