What could dd's rash be?

Dd has been unwell since last Monday- temp up and down, irritable and not eating much. Has been eating a bit better today and good bit happier with no temp but I've just noticed that she has a rash all over her tummy and back. It's very pale pink but not bumpy. I tried the glass test but couldn't see much due to glare but when I press on the skin most of it disappears.
Please stop me paniking and tell me what to do!!

Should have said that she saw a doctor last Monday and they thought it was some kind of virus.

She's had MMR- is 2 in a couple of weeks. What are the symptoms (mild panic now)

sounds viral to me too... I wouldn't worry too much if she seems a bit better today and is eating... if it was something serious she certainly wouldn't feel like eating. If it's still there in the morning you could take her to the docs just to get it checked out or if you're worried, how about calling NHS Direct?
HTH and she's better soon

Realsied after posting that obvioulsy she's immunised against rubella. She has had a cold/ virus very recently, she's been picking everything up. So can you get a viral rash then?(dim emoticon) She is happier today than she has been for a week. I've looked at pictures of rashes on Net and can't see one similar so I suppose there isn't anything to worry about. Dh did the glass test and reckons it disappeared.

Thanks for the advice, it makes sense to me now (funny how my brain turns to much when I panic )
