Nasty tummy-bug - help?

ds (10m) has been vomiting and diarhoea-ing today, and is definitely off-colour, but has no fever or any other 'symptom'. All I've given her today is bm and boiled water. She generally sleeps through, but if she does wake tonight, should I give her water or a breastfeed? Also, when she cries there are virtually no tears - should I worry? She drank about 6-7oz of water today (that she didn't vomit up again).

Advice or experience gratefully received, as this is the first time I've had such a sick 'un.

BTW, 'friend who will probably recognise me', if you read this, I didn't want to disturb you at what is probably a difficult time of the day. I'll call you tomorrow.

Yet again there is a "bug" going around. Where are you boyandgirl? We live in West Lothian but I know people right across central Scotland who have this.

Twin ds' have had it, I've had it and now DH has had it, hopefully it is gone for good as it is horrendous!

It passes in about 24hours and is completely gone a day or so later so unfortunately you have to weather it out! Blame those numpties on the Aurora for bringing it with them

My ds exactly the same. NHS direct said to give him all his feeds as babies need the nutrients. Felt a bit stupid as he was bringing it all up, but they said that he would be keeping some of it in. He stopped after almost exactly 24 hours, but was still very cuddly and sleepy!
