feeling ill

been ill since thursday i have. headache, shivers, feeling sick and a really really tickly cough.
All down what must be my windpipe feels all tickly and it's driving me mad and i can't stop coughing, everytime i breathe in.
help, what's best to take?

ive been taking beechams powders which have taken the edge of the shivers.

It sounds old fashioned, but honey and lemon is good for a tickly cough. That and a hot milk drink (hot chocolate).

Me too! Fortunately dh is around all the time (no job ), so will see to the dds, but I still have to look after ds (5 months) so I'm not getting better as fast as I had hoped.

Sorry, no advice festiveface, but you have my sympathy, this cough is the pits isn't it? I can't even ring my friends for a moan because I can't talk without coughing!!
