My ds3 is 7.5 months and I stil have that circle shape on my tum where the bump was - it doesnt stick out or anything.

Will this just go like it did with the others? It seems to be taking longer. I am an average size 12/14 normally and am wearing normal clothes etc just have a few spare tyres....

Im doing ww but my experience from after having DD was that even though I got quite skinny I still had my bag of cement that I had to tuck into my hipsters

codswallop · 11/11/2003 17:58

o is it overwight -ness or just spare flesh or untoned tummy that will shrink ?

I've had four and was fine 'til I had a caesarian with the 4th. It is probably harder as you get older anyway, but the section has got a lot to answer for. Have now got a sort of overhanging flap ... most unattractive!

codswallop · 11/11/2003 18:04

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO really?
that sounds grim - no, normal births here.

It was just skin not overweightness, think it was the stretchmarks that made my skin bag and never bouncer back

SoupDragon · 11/11/2003 18:19

I think it's stretched skin.

katierocket · 11/11/2003 18:23

right, now I am peed off because I've only had one child and I've have a weird 'flap' of skin that you can literally 'lift away' from my stomach. gross and it won't go, have done loads of sit ups but its still there.
god knows what body will be like if I have another 2, stomach will probably touch the floor!
no c/s BTW but was big baby.

Will exercise tighten loose skin or will it just do muscles? Beety I really need you to make me start my sit ups again. I'm down to a size 10 now, but all loose and floppy still (bleurgh). MAKE ME EXERCISE!

codswallop · 11/11/2003 18:36

Ok will go and change.

Can we start tomorrow though? It's a bit mad here until 9.30pm now.

princesspeahead · 11/11/2003 18:53

hello can I join in? I did an hour of one-on-one pilates today so am feeling virtuous. she has given me a homework routine as well which she is going to make more difficult every week so hopefully that will get me moving. i am notoriously lazy and have never exercised in my life ever but after no 3 I think it is imperative!
no flaps though, that sounds a bit eugh. just generally flabby

codswallop · 11/11/2003 19:05

12 mins (pant pant)

princesspeahead · 11/11/2003 19:06

codswallop · 11/11/2003 19:07

Norma · 11/11/2003 19:10
