Not sure where best to post this but I am having an op to have my tonsils removed next week. I am 33 and have heard as an adult this is a pretty horrendous and painful experience with a even more painful recovery. Has anyone been through this and looked after a child post-op? I have a two year old and am a single parent and am wondering how much help I'll need and for how long??
