I feel sick, dizzy and very yuk - wondering if I've cooked it incorrectly - boiled it as per instructions.

I blame that Gillian McScat myself

I don't believe it - I've uncovered another little nest of closet millet munchers!! Quinoa is on balance marginally worse than millet - millet does at least disintegrate into a sort of wet dust which you can swallow. Quinoa just sort of stays in your mouth, like chewed wax. It does have one use though - a couple of mouthfuls and your appetite is completely destroyed. They should peddle it as a cheap alternative to the gastric band operation.

Dr Filthy McNasty just gets a thrill out of any food which promises to remain unchanged during the digestive process so she can track it grain by grain.

I feel like I've eaten a chinese banquet and it was only a few mouthfuls!

Does it swell in your stomach?

Am I going to explode later ?

No, it's just NOT FOOD, so it triggers your body's refusal response!!! It's a surefire way to shed the pounds!!
