Ouch!! Slammed fridge door into forehead - concussion

Yesterday I grabbed the freezer door (bottom of fridge /freezer) except I didn't, got fridge handle instead and pulled it back straight into my own forehead. V v painful and headache all night. Still achy today and bruised. Does anyone knowing if a solid blow to forehead can cause concussion?

yes it can,I did this with a kitchen cupboard door,rest a bit and take paracetamol and it's one to give everybody a laugh.

yup, just as much as mis-judging and butting the dinner table instead of ducking under it can (I didn't do that, no not at all!!)

Expect to feel ropey for a good few days. I nearly knocked myself out and was "off" for nearly a fortnight

If you have had a headache all night please ring NHS Direct for advice. This might be concussion, but you need to rule out something more serious.
