one spot chicken pox

today we discovered alana has chicken pox although she is very luck and only has a couple of spots poor wee thing. all she wants to do is sleep.

Hope the rest of the spots don't come later. How long has she had the few spots for, I think they can continue to appear for up to 48 hours. Hope she isn't too poorly with it.

I'm still waiting for my kids to get it, I don't want them to suffer but figure they are bound to get it sooner or later.

Hope that it the extent of it and she isn''t too unwell.

DD had chicken pox last year. She got very few spots and wasn't remotely ill with it at all. Other than the odd spot you would have never known!

My ds tuened into one big spot they were all merging together and took about 10 days to scab over, he was so so poorly, he was put on antibiotics because there was a high chance they would get infected. He came down with them the day after I had dts, (7 weeks prem) DT1-normal delivery, DT2- emegency C section, talk about bad timing.

i had them when i was 6 weeks and still have scars even though i couldnt scratch them. just hope i dont get them again ive had them 5 times now

ds had loads and was very ill had 3 .5 weeks of nursery

dd3 spots started as one blister on thursday, by friday her nappy area was covered in spots, on stayrday they were still appearing, on sunday a few more appeared. she is now turning into a giant scab, one very spotty baby
