would you take a kid recovering from chickenpox swimming?

took ds swimming yesterday, and there was a little girl there who had fresh chickenpox scars, some with the scabs still on them.

Now, I know the advice about the infectious period for chickenpox has changed, but does anyone think it's a bit odd to take a child swimming so soon afterwards? Or just me...

Oh God I have just sent ds and dh off swimming and his spots are crusted over so not infectious so thought was ok. They are not at falling off stage Blush and have seen others with their spots at weekly class. Crap. Dh was iffy but I thought he's not infectious , send him he's been stuck in for 10days.

I worry more about the babies having a shit and it floating by TBH.

Doctor adivised me to take DD but keep her out of the sun because of scarring. For a whole year.
