Ever since I was pregnant I have had nothing but bother with my bowels. I spent most of my pregnancy constipated, and now I having the opposite trouble, lots of cramping and very runny on occassion. Any ideas what this could be?

I had the same thing after the birth of my youngest. Eventually I managed to pin it down to the fact that i had suddenly developed an intolernace to quorn (meat substitute). Have you noticed any pattern to your symptoms?

Hiya, yes it seems to be whenever I eat something rich! Especially red meats!

Hmmm, I would be inclined to cut them out (or at least cut down on them) for a while, maybe 6 weeks or so and then slowly re-introduce them. I have to admit that my ds is now 18 monthd and I still haven't got the courage up to re-introduce quorn, but then again, it felt like I was dying everytime I ate the stuff and I am in no hurry to see if I still feel like that, lol!
