Can I ask about endometriosis & bowel symptoms?

I've been diagnosed with IBS for 16 yrs now & after some worsening symptoms I had a colonoscopy which was clear

Is there any chance that my pain could be endometriosis or period related rather than bowel?

I will be asking the GP in February to take it further but I'd like to go in with a bit of knowledge; if anyone can help?

Hello, fellow sufferer here. Like you had bum cam on NHS and all clear. Also had (paid for privately), internal for endometriosis and ultra-sound for kidney stones which are two other causes of abdominal pain in this area. Many hundred of pounds and long time later tried on advice of friend bio-acidophilus pro-biotic (cost £20) it worked. You need to get the proper stuff from a reputable health food store. Not the actimal stuff, the culture levels are too low. I took for three days before symptoms abated, so need to persevere a little.

Advice was after taking to avoid caffeinated and hot drinks for an hour as this hinders the culture getting established. I use the capsules and keep them in the fridge. Hope it works for you also.
