How do you find a recommend surgeon in your localish area?

Despite desperately exercising for a year and being determined to not let me bodyshape bother me it does hugely.

I am seriously considering having a partial tummy tuck.

How do I find recommendations or warnings for a surgeon/hospital, would rather pay more and ensure I survive the surgery without complications if need be!

TIA

I would scrap the localish area requirement for a start. Other than that, no advice, sorry.

first step should be GP.

Most plastic surgeons work in the NHS too so local GPs should know who is good.

When I say localish I'm probably talking 50 miles and I live in the SE so a very densely populated place, probably 100 places I could have it done Shock - I still have to find someone willing to come and pick me up post surgery which limits options unfortunately!

Visit the McIndoe in E Grinstead. It is solely plastics (cosmetic or reconstructive) as all the consultants are from the Queen Victoria which it is in the grounds of - which is world famous for plastic. I've only seen a hand surgeon there, but know people who had cosmetic procedures and were vv happy

Interestingly they don't have sample prices on their Website and are the wrong side of London but will def pursue that lead further, thank you Smile
