Ranitidine - Dosage Calculation

Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows the formula for calculating the dosage for Ranitidine. DD is on 0.35ml x 3 per day and weighs 5.5kg. I know the dosage needs to be increased at weight increases and would like to keep track of it. Also, not sure that she is on a high enough dosage at the moment.

You can check the dosage at bnfc.org/bnfc/ which is the British National Formulary for Children online. You will need to register but it is free to access.

Otherwise you could pop into see a pharmacist. But you are prob best checking with your doctor
