Sometimes I wish had stayed in bed, after a nice day out at the Blue John Mines(great visit), we came back to find the dog had eaten DD'S retainer. So as we have only just returned to Uk after 9 years overseas, we had to find an orthodontist as soon as possible, could not believe my ears... £95 for a piece of bloody plastic!!!!!! I hate that dog.
So my question is has any one out there used a dental insurance co they could recommend as dd no 2 will def need a brace, chatting to dental nurse she told NHS waiting list is on average 18months in our area, after a referral, which itself is 6 months + on NHS. We know she will need one as her teeth are overcrowded and twisting so dont want to get diagnosed by dentist before we get cover as we paid for her sisters brace overseas and would be unfair to make her wait 2 years. Would be grateful for any info and will now sit and wait for retainer to make its appearance..... knowing my luck it will a trip to the vet too.
