THE DOCTOR CAN'T FIND THE BLOODY THREADS! [HMM]

She had a good dig around and nope there not there!

So now I've got to go for a scan to see where it is, and go to a gynae to have the bloody thing taken out! Sad

Anyone else had this experience? The doctor thinks its still in there somewhere as I'm not having periods but where we don't know!

I had this last year! Had an ultrasound and the coil was in place but threads had just curled up inside Confused . Was referred to gynae and fab consultant had my old on out and new one in in about 5 mins. She was fab, loads better than my gp!

Friend of mine just lost her second coil due to heavy periods which is the reason she had the coil to stop the enormous blood loss every month including massice clots. She has now been told coil is more likely to come out with large clots, so why give her one.

When I went to have my coil taken out to conceive DS2 they couldn't find the threads either. I had to go and see a specialist in a womens health centre.

It took two people, two scans, and well over an hour to get it out but it did come out in the end! It was a bit uncomfortable but I took painkillers before I went in as I'm a wimp.

Had same thing, found it with scan, threads slighlty embedded in the wall of my womb, was referred to gynae who got it out in 2mins with only mild discomfort. I am now 7 mnths preg, yay! x
