After waiting anxiously for 3 months for a dermatology appt yesterday, I was left with more confusion than ever. The consultant didn't examined me properly, just a quick look and diagnosed me with vulvitis. After reading it up, I realised vulvitls is just a symptom and not a condition. So I spoke to the consultant on the phone this morning and asked him to clarify a bit more on vulvitis. He said if I'm that concerned he'll refer me to another hospital. I didn't want to have another refferal, I just want another five minutes of his time explaining abit more of my condition to me. I then asked for a 2nd opinion from another consultant at the same hosptial but he said I need to go back to the GP for another referrral and that means another 3 months wait! In the end, the consultant said this is the only choice I have and said if I want to complain then go and compain!
I'm just a bit angry because I've been waiting 3 months for yesterday's appt and didn't even get a proper diagnosis.
