Tea. Hot and milky with sugar if you can?

JumpJockey · 08/12/2011 11:01

Dry toast? Do you have any lucozade in the house?

HettyAmaretti · 08/12/2011 11:03

Bless you, hope you feel better soon.

Bouillon, grated apple, plain yoghurt with sliced banana and plain boiled rice with poached chicken are our D&V staples.

I hate tea. I don't have any lucozadebut can get some once I can go out. I am also meant to be losing weight and getting weighed tomorrow and that will be crap as I am sure I have lost nothing. I can't tolerate bread at the best of times but maybe I need to empty my bowel? Sorry for TMI.

What is Bouillon? The only one I know is a stock.

I have made a lovely pasta salad too.

yes, is indeed a weak vegetable stock.

Mmm, I took the OP to mean you had diarrhea and felt sick. If your tummy's just feeling upset and you feel sick then I'd be more inclined to go with morning sicknes type foods than my 'D&V diet', it's not that pleasant and is based on ease of digestion and replacing salts / magnesium / bacteria lost through D&V. No need to go so extreme for 'just' feeling off colour.

Ginger is good for nausea.

And fizzy drinks (I think)

MotherPanda · 08/12/2011 12:21

peppermint tea, brilliant for upset tummies

Pandsbear · 08/12/2011 14:01

Green tea? Usually find I can tolerate that if I feel a bit 'bleurgh'.
