my hubby is a headfuck

We got a dog one minute he wants him next he doesn't...i suffer desperation so he knows I need help with him but just won't help, kids love dog but hubby is annoyed cquse distrubs his reading paper and crosswords!!

How does the dog disturb his crosswords - does he shout out the answers before your DH gets them?
That would be annoying.

Get him to put down the paper and take dog and kids for a walk together.
If you simply do everything yourself then he'll get away without helping, and you won't get any peace.

LOVE the idea of the dog knowing the crossword answers LOL
