I am desperate for my ds to have it too!! The younger they are the better imo. I got it when I was 17 and it was horrendous - the dr told my dm that if it had been in the 60's I would have been sent to the isolation hospital!

dd1 got it 2 days before xmas, so we have not been allowed to the hospital to visit my husband till all the kids have had it. so once they scab over i can to see him. yippee!!

Great news Misdee!

i would be more than happy for dd2(17 months) to get it as all my others had it before they turned 2. i had it at 13 and it was awful, got them in my throat etc.

i am quite surprised at how few spots they have atm, they both started with small dots last night, about 4 each, dd2 has more now, but dd3 has only one that has filled up.

Get that calamine lotion out and remember to cut their nails really short!!

I was covered from head to toe in spots, in my ears, throat, up my nose, it was even on the soles of my feet, my dad had to carry me up and down the stairs which was highly embarrassing at 17 and I had just met the love of my life - cringe
