My best friend swears by this stuff. I went into Holland and Barrett today and they had a huge sale on. 100 x 400mg for £2.49 instead of £8.49.
I bought them but am not really sure how to use them.
Any tips please? Thanks.

I've just taken 3 of them 2 minutes ago because I feel another cold coming on.

So you just take them when you feel the need - not necessary to take them every day??

yes

My packet says maximum of 14 days use then at least 14 days off. (I.e. you're only supposed to use it at first sign of a cold until the cold is gone).

Not sure what the consequences are if you forget - suspect it's something like your echinacea tolerance going up and it stopping being effective or similar...

just bought some of this for DH as he always seems to be coming down with something!

Do you just take it when you feel ill or all the time? If he woke up with a streaming cold does he take it then? There are no instructions on the pack.

I give it to all 3 of my kids,i give them it 2-3 weeks before we go away on holiday and for the 3 weeks leading up to christmas.Since starting them on it they are mostly healthy, almost every man, womena dn child has been ill this festive period and mines have been in perfect health, whenever they do start getting a cold they only get to the sniffly point then kick it off promplty. So well worth it in my experience.

Apparently one drop (.1 mg) to every year for children...
