Im sorry if this is long but dont want to drip feed either.
Has a long history of bowel troubles which include constent diahorra, bleeding, pain, feeling full before i have eaten a thing, tireness, feeling sick and pain in right side.
This has been going on a long time, and after 3 years Blush my GP finally referred me to Gastro team. I have an appointment in 5 weeks time.

The thing is the last week, I have started to get hip pain, and its killing me :( I feel like Im falling apart and this pain is horrible and its keeping me awake, i can just about walk but always painful.

I dont feel there is any point going back to GP, as he'll link it to all the other stuff and do bugger all about it.
Has anyone got any hints on how to relieve the pain. Should I just go to GP and ask for referal privately?? I am starting to worry it could be something more serious, as im just getting worse.

I have a holiday before i get to gastro appointment and its going to be hard keeping up with girls at this rate.

Google Psoas Bursitis and see if that matches your symptomsIt's a commo cause of hip pain.Neurofen will relieve the inflammation that is causing your hip pain but make sure you take them with food.

Go backto your doctor, you are "allowed" to have two unrelated conditions you know.
It sounds like you are in a delicate state ,so you might say no,but have you fallen on your hip or had a jolting action against your hip, could you have a more mechanical damage?A cartlilage problem maybe?
either way its a new symptom and the doc will have a better guide to your treatment if you keep them informed.Hope you get some relief.x

Lol at "allowed" Grin
I haven't banged it at all but do a fair amount of moving tables, pushing buggies, lifting kids and hoovering, so guess could have pulled something.
I can't get to GP today, the pains too bad and i don't have car today but will Go monday if it's not better.

I get what feels like hip pain, but is actually my back (where spine meets pelvis), and is easily sorted by osteopath when it goes.

You don't usually get sudden onset hip pain thats really bad, so may well be back. You can usually get a same day appt if you ring an osteo, and most do Saturdays
