For the last few months I have had such sore boobies starting from about 9 days before my period and lasting about 3 days BUT they hurt so much. It feels like when I was pregnant (only have one DD and am def not pregnant). They are hot, swolllen & when my bra isn't on I feel I must put it on to support them, but when it is on I want to get it off as they are so tender. Does anyone have any advice please? (I am early 40s if that adds to anything.)

Hi Janpa, I've always suffered from breast tenderness, but it has definitely got worse, as you describe since I reached my 40s (Mine lasts for about 7 days until my period starts)

It's hard to achieve when you're feeling pre-menstral, but taking care of my diet definitely helps, in particular cutting right down on animal fats (butter Blush ) and not having refined sugar. I have no science to back it up, but I find things much better when I have only organic dairy produce - in my mind it's becasue of the hormones the poor cows are pumped full of, but as I said, I have nothing to back that up.

Magnesium (nuts) and Potassium (bananas) are supposed to help.

Fennel tea is also supposed to be good, but TBH I'm not convinced on that one.
