Is it possible to have a very minor heart attack/murmur? Don't know what to call it really...

Last night in bed I developed a sharp pain in my left side and it sort of spread as an ache to my shoulder. At the same time I was a bit breathless. Nothing serious and I carried on talking to DS1 who was sitting on the bed. Later I found that side seemed to ache when I lay on it and again felt a bit breathless like I couldn't stretch my lungs. I moved on to my other side but it still hurt a little. Then it seemed to happen again later and I got a bit panicky.

Indigestion probably but it was horrible.

I've had panic attacks but those don't normally hurt.

Any ideas?

OK now.

Hello Orm. Smile

It was probably wind/indigestion but if you're worried go to the docs. It's unlikely to be anything sinister so don't get panicky about it. I'm actually suffering something similar at the moment; pain in my left side (more around the back really and under my shoulder blade), breathless when I lie on that side and first thing in the morning. The doc thinks it's costochonditis but has sent me for a chest x-ray too.

Thanks saggar Grin

I suspected it was nothing but it was very uncomfortable.
