Good London Optometrist please?

Does anyone have an optometrist in Central-ish London that they would recommend?

I keep hearing how bad many of them are these days and am getting mildly concerned by changes to my vision.

When I lived in London, Clive Kay in Victoria was excellent. That was about 20 years ago, and I suspect that Cive himself may have retired by now, but I would certainly look into them (no pun intended) as they certainly used to investigate some complex problems, and do "cosmetic" eye stuff for movies - eg: first people in UK t do coloured contacts - so fairly high flyers.
