Thermometer

Can anyone recommend a thermometer? I have a 9 month old and a four year old and want a thermometer that will accurately and easily take their temperatures. I've got the 'Tommee Tippee multi use thermometer', but I'm really not convinced it's very accurate. Thanks.

I'm afraid that I'm still using the mercury ones that I nicked aquired when I was a student nurse 20 years ago Blush

I put them under the arm of the youngest and under the tongue of the older one. dh and I use them as well. I have yet to find anything as accurate, but most people would refuse to use them these days due to safety fears. They're fine as long as you're careful and sensible. They don't need batteries, never run out and are easy to sterilise too Smile

I guess perhaps you could try one of the better quality ear ones. I always found they varied too much in accuracy and weren't reliable.

50 people rate this highly..

I use an ear one and then back it up with an under arm one if I want a second opinion
