Max dose qvar inhaler?

Ok had a terrible cough brougt on by a cold. Have been doubled my Qvar and then tripled but having only slight affect. Nomal find about 32-48 hour to notice the differents. Read the doseage on the paper with my qvar(100) inhaler is up to 8 puffs a day. It's just that seem alot as I normally only 2 puffs a day.

Sorry forgot to mention did see dr and said to up the dose to max, but forgot to ask what the maxdose was.

I use qvar inhaler and when I get a cold usually double up on dose. I take normally one puff in morning and one at night. I believe the max dose is 8 puffs a day. Might be worth checking though with pharmacist or emergency dr or NHS direct if not sure.

If your cough is not improving you may need to get it checked out at docs.

Thanks orange have taken 8 puffs a day for the last 3 days and at last my cough seem to be getting better. Mind still sounds awful.
