Do you give these to your children on a daily basis?

Not probiotics, I don't see any purpose in them. But we've always had a multi-vitamin & mineral supplement, grown ups and DC alike. I know we ought to get all we need from a healthy balanced diet, but the truth is we don't always do as well as we could, and I don't think a top-up is a bad idea.

No.

They do eat my probiotic yoghurt with mystery bacteria, though.

They seem healthy enough.

I read a book called 'bad science' recently by Ben Goldacre which said the omega 3 thing is based on poor statistics and an impartial study with poor controls. I used to buy omega 3 ones and don't bother now, I just give make mackerel pâté instead which they love on toast, it's a lot cheaper.

We have 4 dcs, so anything like omega 3 would work out very expensive for us.
