After a long battle with gp i finally got referred to endocrinologist and have had various hormone tests run for irregular mixed up cycles, facial hair and excess hair on body struggling to lose weight despite eating 1200 cal diet everyday and excercising!!!
Got results back which showed High LH levels again (2nd time iv had them checked in past few months), high Oestradoil levels and borderline testosterone, consultant contacted me to say its PCOS which she suspected straight away.
Im back at GP on tuesday to get started on metformin, also need a transvaginal scan already had a pelvic ultrasound 3 months ago which was normal.

Hoping im now gonna get sorted..........at long last...........hoping for more regular periods.............anything gotta be better than 65-73 day cycles, hoping for my beard to go, and for my weight to start and shift. Fingers crossed.

Hope it works well for you. I would ask your GP for the extended release version. It is much easier to tolerate than the normal one. Also take your tablets at mealtimes as it helps to decrease the side effects.
