lump in my calf, quite painful last night

Ive got quite a big lump in my calf. Its been there for quite a long time, I saw the doctor about it a few years ago, he felt it and said he thought it was probably just a fybroid of some kind. Its been hurting quite a lot lately, last night was keeping me up. Should I go back to my gp? Would they do anything about it?

Yes, you should go to GP....even if its 'just' a fibroid, it could be infected or something!

ok, i will, it was particularly bad after running, it scares me a bit, i keep thinking of dvt but maybe i am just paranoid!
