Tinnitus driving me insane!

I've always slept and been able to get to sleep really well. At the moment the tinnitus is driving me f*ing mad. All I hear when trying to get to sleep is a low buzzing noise.

It mostly coincides with my neck pain and headaches. Apparently there is no cure cure or medication for it, is this right?

Many thanks.

I can't imagine how distressing it must be for someone that young.

Continuing to find the cause is essential but learning to accept it is also very helpful even though it doesn't feel like it at the time.

Tinnitus is distressing but stressing about it really makes it worse and is what contributes more to the feeling of despair and depression. You really do get used to it to some extent but it takes time to do so.

Cbt really does help if it can't be resolved by other means. One thing to check though is vit b12 levels as this can cause tinnitus.
