is there a weird stomach bug going around

because i keep getting really bad stomach contractions that come and go - it's so painful but odd. day three now :(

Theres always something. Sounds like intestinal spasms, peppermint oil can sometimes help.

I was going to ask the same question OP. I've had this for over a week. I have a day when I feel okay again and then it just comes back.

Mine are very low down though - not exactly stomach - kind of lower abdomen. Have contemplated going to the doctor, but there's no point if it's viral and as a friend has the exact same thing I'm beginning to suspect that it is.

It's bloody painful.

Oh, I have this too, had it for a week and it's worse after I eat. Wish it would bugger off!

have you found anything that makes it feel better? I've found mint tea helps. Drinks with milk seem to make it worse. As does eating generally!

I am more or less living on bread, which is very boring. I like lots of fruit and veg usually but can't manage it.

Are you taking anything for the pain? Have wondered whether analgesics would irritate stomach even more...

Hmm. So maybe DS is not having me on!

He is off school for second day saying his tummy hurts. I refused to believe him on Monday and he went to school but said tummy hurt all day. Didn't eat much as saud it's worse when he eats.

He is unhappy at school so I though it might be that.
