I want to take her to the local drop in clinic, dh says over reaction.

What do you think?

It's an emergency drop in clinic so open

Take her, at least it'll put your mind at rest even if it is an over reaction

TheLittlestNarwhal · 30/10/2011 12:21

I would say take her. You know your own baby so if you feel something is wrong it is best to get her checked out.

Lulumama · 30/10/2011 12:23

the symptoms you describe are exactly the ones that should get checked out immediately, go to the clinic.

Sorry for the lateness in replying, I took dd2 to the clinic and they said it's more than likely just a virus and to keep an eye on her.

She's been sleepy all day but managed some dinner so I think she'll be fine in a couple of days.

Thank you all for the replies, going did reassure me Smile

Glad things have turned out ok, lethargy can be due to temp and lack of fluid make sure you keep lo topped up. And remember if you get concerned/ worried again you go again. I am sure you are right that she will pick up in a coupl of days though

beautifulgirls · 30/10/2011 22:17

Please check on her overnight anyway and if worried seek medical help. Don't let the fact she has already been seen deter you from going back if you are worried. Please take a read of www.meningitis.org/symptoms and bear them in mind. Almost certainly it is nothing to worry about, but had we not persisted with DD earlier this year and sought medical help 3x in two days she wouldn't be here now.

hope she continues to improve Smile

She is much better today, ate some redybrek and seemed to back to her normal cheeky self, although still very tired.

Thank you all Smile
