In my case it was a bit of brown and the slightest bit of pink (tiny), only when I wiped and my period never followed as I was pregnant.

When was your period due? This can happen before your period. How long ago did you spot?

Sorry to say that IME an implantation bleed is an idea that plants itself in your brain to fool you into believing you're not really getting your period. That's my experience anyway. Two babies, neither of which started with an implantation bleed of any kind. Lots of "implantation bleeds" that turned out to be the start of a period that came anything from 1 to 7 days later.

Hope it works out for you whatever happens. Smile The whole implantation bleed thing drove me crazy when I was TTC. I am convinced that my state of mind actually influenced my periods. I think the record was my period coming 2 whole weeks after a small bleed. Miraculously my period always arrived within a day or so of doing yet another pregnancy test.
Funnily enough both times I became pregnant I suspected nothing at all until I suddenly realised I was late, very late. Found out at 8 weeks with no 1 and 7 weeks with no 2.

Thanks, would keep and be happy if I was but would be easier if I wasn't. Just want to know either way!

If you not preventing a pregnancy, is sounds very likely that you are, although you've not had that positive test yet so who knows??
