Has anybody taken Prozac and NOT felt any nasty side effects in 1st few weeks?

I've got some but am a bit scared of taking them. I took Citalopram a few years ago and felt really sick for about a fortnight when I started them and am assuming that Prozac will be the same. Has anyone ever felt fine on them from the start?

Yes me! I took prozac (fluoxetine) for about a year for PND and didn't have any side effects at all.

That's good to know, thanks! I know of 2 people who had no side effects (3 now!) but all you hear about is people who felt ill when they started it...

Yes, I took it for 9 months. No side effects at all, unless you count also getting rid of my paranoia about leaving the cooker on!

I didn't feel better mentally for about 3 weeks and then gradually over about another week I started to feel much better. So give them a chance to work as well.

I have never had a relapse either, despite being convinced I would get PND.
