I'm posting this on behalf of my friend who is feeling really poorly.
Last week she developed a cold and looked horrendous, she dragged herself into work and I'm amazed they never sent her home, she looked so poorly but was due to take leave for a long weekend away and didn't want to be off before her leave. She struggled through but by Thursday she was so ill she couldn't get out of bed. She called in sick on the Thursday and was then on leave Friday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I saw her out on Monday and although she said she felt better she was so pale and didn't look well at all, she said she had a bad head but had gone out for the kids and that they hadn't been away as she was so poorly. Other than taking the kids out that morning and to a swimming lesson on the Tuesday she has been in bed or on the sofa. I've never seen anyone look so sick.
Tuesday morning she was crying in pain with her headache, the pain was making her twitch and although she brightened up later in the day she was still so pale. She has had the same headache this morning and I'm told she was lying in bed with a bag of frozen peas on her head. She has a GP appt this afternoon but I'm really worried about these headaches she is getting, I get migraine but I've never cried and twitched like she is, she is saying the worse pain is in the back of her head/neck and has woken up with it since the weekend but its getting worse each day. My only thing stopping me being a complete wreck is it wears off during the day. What could it be?
She does run herself ragged and I know she is worrying about work but she needs to rest and get better. I'm so worried about her.
