and I am going to GP in morning.
Last night aobut midnight I felt an awful severe pain in my lower abdomen (just above my pubic bone. I felt like I needed the loo, but didn't. However had lots of 
loose ones. Then at 6am got woken again by the pain and had a mix of firm and very soft stools. No sooner had I finished than the pain built up again and off to the loo again I'd go. This went on till at least 10am. Then it eased, but on and off all day I've back the pain back, not as severe as this morning, but I am still getting the need to go to the loo. However, there's a lot of noise [blush} (sorry) and just a few drops of stool mixed with blood, quite alight brown blood, but definately blood. The pain has eased a bit now, and is nowehre near as frequent as it was this morning.
This is the first time I've ever had anything like this, although have in the past had odd flare up of something similar, almost like IBS, but it's never gone as long as this, and always seem to go once my bowel has been cleared TMI again, sorry
Is it an nfection (fingers crossed) IBS (again) or something far more serious! I won't sleep now tonight.
